Planned on picking up a few pounds of short ribs for the weekend, realizing how much I actually go through and the cost of them at my supermarket (Fairway Market), I decided to stop by Restaurant Depot to see how much it was … It cost less than HALF!! At the time it cost $3.44/lb for ~20lbs versus Fairway’s at $6.99/lb (I was planning on buying ~10 lbs).

If you’re like me and do a decent amount of cooking for yourself and guests and know that you’ll be cooking more short ribs in the future (if you’ve sous-vide them for 48 and 72 hours, you know you will be), it made complete sense for me to buy 20lbs of it!
