So I got in the mood forĀ potstickers/pork dumplings, I was like I have all the ingredients, how hard could it be?, It was a lot more time consuming than I anticipated, I did not have a mixer nor a rolling pin, everything was made by hand. What I thought would take an hour ended up taking several š
But I have to say, I was happy with my results, considering this is the first time making them.
- Rolled out the dough for the wonton wrappers into a long strip!
- Started slicing the strip into small pieces.
- Rolled out a ton of wrappers (did i mention, i had no rolling pin, the bottle of Tito’s was my rolling pin!
- Started stuffing the potstickers / dim sum into different shapes.
- The more standard potsticker shape.
- Siu mai pockets.
- A bunch of random shapes!
